Parking operated by WVU Intercollegiate Athletics in the general area of the WVU Coliseum is sold on a season basis and requires a color-coded permit, which matches the designated areas. Parking permits are available on a limited basis to season ticket holders who are MAC members at the highest contribution levels. Parking will be allocated and assigned based on MAC priority guidelines and are purchased through the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Assignment of parking spaces purchased is based on MAC annual and lifetime giving levels, and due to extremely limited availability many MAC members will not qualify for basketball parking.
Acquiring a Season Parking Pass
In order to request basketball season parking you must be an annual donor to the Mountaineer Athletic Club at the Director level or higher and purchase season tickets through the Mountaineer Ticket Office on the same account. Currently, donors at the Director level and higher are allocated one (1) parking pass per account in the Blue Lot. All basketball parking passes are mailed under separate cover.
Expanded Parking Opportunities
The initial enhancement is a newly-created parking area available exclusively for Stadium Suite holders and Mountaineer Scholar level donors. This area will be close to the WVU Coliseum and specifically reserved for donors at these giving levels. Additionally, Stadium Suite, Mountaineer Scholar, Gold Scholar and Champion level donors may request to purchase additional parking passes based on their annual giving level and number of season tickets:
• Stadium Suite holders, Mountaineer Scholar, Gold Scholar and Champion level donors who have purchased more than five (5) men’s basketball season tickets may purchase one (1) additional parking pass.
• Stadium Suite holders and Mountaineer Scholar level donors who have purchased more than nine (9) men’s basketball season tickets may purchase a maximum two (2) additional passes.
• The cost of each additional parking pass is $280.
Retaining a Season Parking Pass
To retain a basketball season parking pass you must maintain the minimum contribution level assigned to the designated parking lot. Dropping below the minimum contribution level for a specific lot will result in the loss of season parking privileges.
A limited number of American with Disabilities Act (ADA) season parking passes are sold at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. To purchase the season ADA parking pass, one must be a season ticket holder and have a valid state issued ADA parking placard or license plate, along with a valid state issued ADA parking registration card. A photo ID of the ADA permit holder must match the parking registration card. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Copies of the proper forms with payment must be mailed to the Mountaineer Ticket Office, PO Box 0877, Morgantown WV 26507, in order to secure a season ADA parking pass. Vehicles must display the proper placard or license plate from the state in which they reside, and the disabled pass holder must be present in the vehicle, in order to utilize disabled parking. A limited number of single game ADA parking spaces will still be available in the Coliseum parking lots for all remaining men’s home basketball games at a cost of $20 per game. When the disabled parking is full it will be announced on the radio.
