The Mountaineer Athletic Club's mission is to provide annual scholarship support to West Virginia University student-athletes and to develop private support for capital projects, endowments and other needs as prioritized by the WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The Mountaineer Athletic Club is the fundraising arm of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at West Virginia University. Supported by businesses and individuals alike, MAC provides funds for grants-in-aid to more than 350 male and female student athletes at WVU.

Of all money contributed to MAC, 80 percent goes directly to scholarship funding and 20 percent is devoted to the ever-increasing operational costs of the 16-sport athletic program. From football to basketball, swimming to wrestling, volleyball to soccer, every Mountaineer athletic team benefits from the scholarship support made possible by MAC donors.

A tax deductible donation to MAC entitles a member to a long list of benefits, but more importantly, members have the knowledge that their support translates into scholarships for young student-athletes.
